Giving Time - Teaching Skills for Life
cool website for homeschooling
by Lisa
I?m homeschooling my DD. We enjoy it very much. We are now using beestar. It?s a website for primary student offering curricular-based exercises of math, vocabulary, reading, etc every week, so I can find out whether I?m teaching the right thing according to the exercises. Because there are many kids from different states using beestar, DD can compete with them on beestar and I can also know where my DD goes. It really helps. Here?s the website. I put it linkable below.

Squeaky Clean Reads Book Reviews
by Melissa S.
(Colorado)
Hi,
I just wanted to let you know about a great resource for parents who are trying to find books for their teens to read. It's called "Squeaky Clean Reads" (www.squeakycleanreads.com), and readers can rate and review books based on their content. So you can see, before you read, if there is any questionable or offensive material in a book. There are also constant books giveaways! This is a great resource for any reader or parent who wants to be informed about the books they are reading!
